OUR MINISTRIES
We are involved in all kinds of ministries through the various efforts of the members and friends of Nappanee Church of the Brethren. Listed on this page are some of the many ministries we are involved in.
Prayer: PHONE TREE
We are so BLESSED to have an ongoing PRAYER ministry at our church. Some years back we invested in a PHONE TREE in which we can send out Prayer Requests, Notifications, Greetings and Announcements to every member of the church by way of the phone. To be part of this exciting ministry all you need to do is give us a phone number you would like to be contacted at and wait for the next call!
WOW Club!
This stands for Widows, Old Folks, and Widowers! This is a monthly luncheon held on the 2nd Friday of every month at 11:30AM where we meet at differing locations for Lunch, a brief devotional, and FUN!!! Please call the church office for where our next club meeting will be. YOU ARE WLECOME!!!
Sunday school
Sunday School for all ages is held at 9AM every Sunday.
Junior Church
Junior Church is held every morning at the 10 AM Worship Service. The children stay in church with their families until the Children's Time in the service and then they go to Jnior Church for a time of fun and study and crafts based on the Biblical Text for that morning! It is FUN!
Music
Our music is a variety on Sunday mornings! We have Organ, Piano, Trumpets, Flutes, Electric Guitar, sometimes, It's all digital! You never know what is going to happen, we also use iWorship Music with screen projected images, and even once in awhile Pastor Byrl breaks out his Ukulele to lead us in song!
Community service
We are involved in the community in MANY WAYS: Free Community Walk-In Meals every Monday and Thursday 5-6PM; We collect food and supplies for FCDC and OPEN DOOR; We rally around needs that are brought to our attention to help out. Many of our members and friends are serving as Mentors and in various community roles to better serve Nappanee and the surrounding community!
